Every hero needs a Sidekick...

And now I have my own. To some this might be old news... but I've been meaning to post about it for a while now. I happen to be the proud owner of an automobile, now. She's a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick of a silver shade.

She has some funny quirks that I'm getting used to, but for the most part she's a lot of fun to drive. She seems to favor the higher gears, and thus is quite the speedy little car.

She has plenty of space in the boot, only seats four, has a manual; five-speed transmission, and is Four-Wheel-Drive capable. She's a pretty basic car, but I love her. I'm already certain that we'll enjoy many an adventure together.

  1. Nothing like a trusty vehicle, I'm rather jealous if I may say so.

  2. Hey Caleb, This is Micaiah!(I met you at the Fall Fest.)
Pretty sweet ride. I was wondering what the engine size was/L, and how many cylinders it had/V-6-V-8.
What I Lord willing am going to do for my future vehicle is, I'm going to find a beat up '55 Willy's wagon/jeep, and pretty much redo the whole car from top to bottom. So that would probably involve an engine overhaul/some major parts replacement or getting something like a Chevy 350 put in it which is NOT favorable b/c it's fuel injected(More complex ECU/Engine Control Unit type stuff). Then there would be Body work, Interior work, wiring/stereo system&such, and having to possibly put in a set of ('77-79?) Jeep Cherokee axles instead of the original axles b/c if I put a Beefy V-8 in it, it break the original axles to pieces.
So here is what it could possibly look like before and after:
